As someone with severe anxiety, I notice ever since I was a toddler watching the show that twilight had anxiety. I may of not understood why I related to her so much and I never knew I had anxiety + what it was (I found out at a doctors appointment where they was giving me an injection to try “fix” my ears because I had fluid in them but they then said it didn’t do anything and that it was useless and the pain from those ladies nails still haunt me but anyways) and so the older I got and understood why I related to her, MLP became one of my comfort shows (Hazbin + helluva boss are the other two but their episodes get a bit boring after watching them too much like I did unlike my little pony) , it’s so weird knowing that Twi had all this pressure put on her, got forced to make friends and then had so many tests where she was told she had to do things alone but then ended up not doing them alone, panicking that she will fail (anxiety), wanting it all perfect (ocd), knowing about so much history + seeing some things you would never want to see, fight people way older than her (Tirek, Queen Crystalist) , get harassed because of what she has to do to save every single pony, saved those a lot stronger than her multiple times, has her obsession with books to comfort her and get her away from all the stress, gets near to death situations, has to deal with two worlds, takes over after 2 rulers, fights nightmare moon (twice I think?), gets told she’s not needed then is needed 5 minutes later, gets treated differently when she doesn’t enjoy being treated differently, when she wants time to herself she’s not allowed, gets pressured by chaos (aka discord), gets pressured by her friends, never gets time to spend with her family, gets celestia and Luna disappearing on her, getting royal duties dumped on her and being told that everything is easy and not difficult. Did I prove my point there?
